The timer will show you how long the Google meet call has been ongoing for. Once the time has been reached, you can let the other individuals inside the meeting know that you have to leave the meeting. Ensure you do not run late and skip another meeting accidentally.

How to ensure meetings do not go over time.
It is crucial that you manage your time well in order to ensure meetings do not overrun.
Some of the ways you can do this include:
-Make sure you have an idea of how much time a meeting will take. If you are unsure, ask someone who has attended similar meetings in the past how long it lasted and what were the main points covered.
-If you are running late for a meeting, let others know as soon as possible so they can adjust their plans accordingly.
-Try not to arrive early for a meeting unless it is absolutely necessary. You could even wait outside until 5 minutes before it starts if it helps you avoid feeling stressed about being late or rushing through the meeting once it has started.
-During the meeting itself, ensure that everyone has an opportunity to contribute by giving each person an equal amount of time to speak and listening carefully when they do speak rather than interrupting them or jumping in with your own ideas too quickly.
-Give yourself time at the end of each meeting (and before starting one) to make sure that everyone understands what was discussed during the meeting and how action points will be followed up on afterwards (if necessary).
Keep the meeting short and sweet. If you have a lot of issues to cover, break them up into separate meetings. This will help keep each meeting on track and ensure that nothing is left out.
Ask people to arrive 10 minutes early. This gives them time to get settled and for you to go over any notes or other materials before the meeting begins.
Set an end time for the meeting, then stick to it! This helps everyone stay focused on the topic at hand and not get distracted by other things going on in their lives or workday.
